🌿 The Story Behind the Artwork
Bouquet of Forest began as one of those ideas that appeared out of nowhere and wouldn't leave me alone. Instead of a bouquet of flowers, I imagined holding an entire piece of forest in my hands - branches, roots, ferns and moss all woven together into a single arrangement.

Created entirely in ballpoint pen over 49 hours, this drawing is filled with the intricate textures and details that I love exploring in nature. It's a celebration of Aotearoa's native forests and a reminder that these remarkable places are something to be appreciated, respected, and protected.
