Frequently asked questions
About the Art
-
This is the one-of-a-kind, hand-drawn piece I created using ink, graphite, or ballpoint pen. It’s the actual artwork, not a copy or reproduction. Originals may include fine details, texture, and marks that aren’t visible in prints.
-
A giclée (pronounced “zhee-clay”) is a high-quality reproduction printed with archival inks on cotton rag or textured fine art paper. It’s made to last for decades without fading, and closely matches the color and detail of the original. This is the best option if you want something that feels like a collector’s piece.
-
Art prints are more affordable reproductions printed on quality paper using standard inks. They’re great for casual display or gifting, and still show off the beauty of the artwork, just without the archival materials and longevity of a giclée.
